Adam Lenz

Sustainability Coordinator and Environmental Manager

Adam has served as Richmond’s Sustainability Coordinator and Environmental Manager in the Richmond City Manager’s Office for 6-years. After graduating from Ohio University with a B.S. in Chemistry and a B.A. in Economics, he sought sunnier skies and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2004. His primary responsibilities include oversight and project management of the City’s greenhouse gas reduction programs including the City’s Climate Action Plan, City infrastructure efficiency, community choice aggregation, community air monitoring programming, and the City’s zero waste services. In his spare time, he’s an active runner, backpacker, and gardener.
